Several Greater Vernon neighbourhoods have had their water service switched back to their original source following a multi-week project.
Greater Vernon Water switched the source for the BX, East Hill, Stepping Stones, Old Kamloops Road, Middleton Mountain, and parts of Coldstream and Lavington areas from the Duteau Creek to Kalamalka Lake on Oct. 6 to accommodate a critical water main valve replacement project.
The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) said the project was completed and the neighborhoods were being served from their original source Friday, Nov. 14.
