Kelowna Springs Golf Course to be acquired by City
A proposed deal between the City of Kelowna and a developer appears set to preserve Kelowna Springs Golf course as a 9-hole entity with full-length holes.
The future of the remaining 9-hole layout had been in doubt since Denciti bought the land to construct a large industrial park.
The potential land exchange would see about 60 acres of Denciti-owned property at the Penno Road golf course location, including nine acres of trails, water features and open space, be swapped for nine acres of City-owned industrial land at Hollywood Road North.
Denciti will retain approximately 46 acres of land directly adjacent to the golf course, which will be subject to an application for industrial land use.
