If you’re wondering when curbside green bin collection ends, you have until the end of the year.

It will then resume in March.

The regional district says the waste gets composted into a nutrient-rich soil amendment for gardens and lawns.

In a media release the RDCO said : All yard waste is composted into GlenGrow, a nutrient-rich soil amendment for gardens and lawns.

Deposit yard waste only please; do not include plastic bags, flowerpots, rocks, sod, kitchen scraps or garbage as these materials contaminate the final product. Accepted items include:
