Retro Mania featuring vintage goods for sale, family-fun atmosphere

Collectors of all things vintage and retro will be able to get their hands on some goods next weekend.

Vernon Comic Con will host Retro Mania, an event where people will be selling a range of items from rare toys to classic comics, from vinyl records to sports and trading cards, and from nostalgic pop culture memorabilia to retro board and video games.

Along with having stalls with all these cool old items, Retro Mania will also have an arcade room with pinball and old game machines, a Classic Computer Corner with retro video games and consoles, and live music by DJ Lunchboxx.

“It’s all happening November 8th from 10AM to 5PM at the Vernon Rec Centre, this is the ultimate throwback event you won’t want to miss,” organizers say in a social media post.

“Perfect time to start your Christmas list, or something phenomenal for yourself.”

The event is also being used as a food drive for the Salvation Army Food Bank. Attendees were encouraged to bring non-perishable items they wished to donate.

Admission o Retro Mania will be $5, and children aged 12 and under will be able to get in for free.
