Annual ski swap going at Vernon Recreation Centre Saturday

People gearing up for ski and snowboard season will be able to find some new equipment this weekend.

The 56th annual ski swap will go at the Vernon Recreation Centre from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, October 18.

“With ski season just around the corner, the Vernon Ski Club is excited to host its 56th Annual Ski Swap — the region’s biggest pre-season event for snow sports enthusiasts. It’s the perfect opportunity to gear up for the winter,” the club said in a release.

Winter sports enthusiasts will be able to browse a range of new and gently used equipment at the ski swap including skis and snowboards, Nordic gear, outerwear, and accessories.

The club noted retailers from across B.C. would have their own stalls at the ski swap where they will offer their brand new equipment.
