Vernon RCMP searching for woman missing over two weeks

Local police are asking for assistance locating a woman who hasn’t been heard from for over two weeks.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP said 44-year old Jody Gauvin was last heard from Sept. 20 and was believed to be in Vernon.

The missing woman is described as 5-6 (168 cm) tall, and weighing 200 pounds (91 kg). She has green eyes and brown hair.

Police say there is concern for Gauvin’s well-being, and asked anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact their local detachment or file a report with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
