Unconscious Man Found on Side of the Road

Police seeking information after person found injured on Commonage Road

Local Mounties are asking the public to come forward with any information about an incident that saw one person injured on the road between Vernon and Predator Ridge Tuesday.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP said an unconscious man was found on the side of the road in the 100-block of Commonage Road around 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30.

“One ambulance with primary care paramedics and one ambulance with advanced care paramedics responded to the scene,” paramedic public information officer, Brian Twaites, told Vernon Matters.

“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient who was transported to hospital in critical condition.”

Police opened an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the person being injured.

Anyone with information relating to this case, anyone who was travelling on Commonage Road between 8 and 9:30 p.m., and anyone with dashcam or security camera footage from the area during those times was asked to contact the Vernon RCMP at 250-545-7171 and quote file #2025-16636.
