Showcasing Young Entrepreneurs

Inaugural Coldstream Youth Business Fair goes Sunday

Oct 4, 2025 | 6:00 AM

The first ever Coldstream Youth Business Fair will be held on the weekend.

The fair featuring over 20 young entrepreneurs will go at Coldstream Station, the parking lot next to Sun Country Cycle, from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5.

The event is free and open to the public so they can brows the stalls to see the products and services the young entrepreneurs have put together. It also gives the youths a chance to gain real-world experience as they develop their brands, build marketing strategies, and launch their businesses.

“We believe these kids don’t have to wait until they’re grown up to start shaping their futures – they’re doing it right now,” Brooke Scott, organizer of the Coldstream Youth Business Fair, said.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our communities, and by encouraging young people to dream big and build something of their own, we’re investing in stronger communities for tomorrow.”

On top of showcasing their business acumen, the young entrepreneurs will have a chance to win awards for Highest Business Potential, Most Original/Creative Idea, and Most Professional Execution. The awards will be handed out by a group of judges consisting of parent volunteers and local business leaders.
