Prescribed burn begins in Knox Mountain Park
An 11-hectare prescribed burn in Knox Mountain Park is underway.
Its being managed by the Kelowna Fire Department and the City of Kelowna Parks department, with support from BC Wildfire Service. The controlled fire is intended to reduce wildfire risk, clear excess vegetation, and restore natural habitats while protecting nearby homes and park infrastructure.
