Aging Well Expo in Vernon to run Oct. 1

National Seniors Day will be marked in Vernon with the annual Aging Well Expo.

On Oct. 1, older adults, caregivers and community members interested in staying healthy in their old age will be able to attend the event and visit over 30 exhibitors representing health care, financial and legal services, housing, physical care, and lifestyle supports.

Organized by NexusBC, the expo will allow attendees to meet directly with experts, discover programs, and access information from local service providers and organizations.

“Healthy aging takes a community, and the Aging Well Expo is about connecting people with the right resources at the right time,” Lee Brinkman with NexusBC said.

“Whether you’re an older adult, a caregiver, or planning ahead, this event brings together a wide range of local services under one roof.”
