Park Lane in Coldstream to be temporarily closed

A roadway in Coldstream will be closed for two days ty accommodate planned work.

Park Lane will be closed to through traffic between Learmount and Springfield Roads from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 17 and 18.

The closure was ordered to allow for an essential new water main extension, which the District of Coldstream said would “help ensure a more reliable and continuous water supply for the community.”

Local access will be maintained on Park Lane for residents and emergency services during the work, though all other traffic was advised to avoid the work area and follow detour routes. Overnight traffic will be permitted through the work site.
