Vernon’s new roundabout nearly complete

Significant progress has been made on the new traffic control measure in the Foothills neighbourhood.

A city staff report said the pavement work has been completed for the new roundabout at the intersection of Silver Star Rd. and Phoenix Dr.

Work will begin Monday, Sept. 15, on the installation of an art piece, the concrete base for a pole and chair, and surrounding landscaping.

The roundabout remain on track to be completed by the end of September. The pole and chair should be installed by November.
