41st annual Kalamalka Rotary Dream Auction

Dream Auction gala to go in November, supporting the Science Centre

The 41st annual Kalamalka Dream Auction gala will go ahead in the fall.

Ticket sales launched Thursday, September 4, for the gala event, held at the Prestige Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre on November 15.

The black-tie gala will gave a theme of “An Evening of Stars, Elegance, and Possibility,” and will feature fine dining, entertainment, and live and silent auctions.

The Dream Auction raises funds for health care, education, youth and community initiatives, and this year’s event is in support of the expansion of the Okanagan Science Centre.

Organizer Pippa Forster told Vernon Matters that the Dream Auction raised over $250,000 in 2024, and that she hopes “to match what we did last year, and more,” with the 41st edition of the fundraiser.
