Recognize these two? New pedestrian bridge vandalized

Kelowna RCMP are looking for info on two young men suspected of defacing the new Harvey / Richter pedestrian overpass.

Police said the vandalism with spray paint happened August 10 at about midnight.

Video surveillance showed the two taking pics of the graffiti.

In a media release Mounties said video surveillance showed multiple sections of the newly constructed bridge were defaced as the two walked through the area. Approximately ten minutes later, one of the suspects climbed over the safety railing and proceeded to tag the interior portion of the concrete support structure.

One if the suspects is described as a caucasian male, last seen wearing a grey hoodie with white, red and black writing, black baggy pants, white and black runners, and a black and white printed headband, carrying a black and beige camera-like bag.

The other is described as a caucasian male, with longer blonde hair, last seen wearing black pants, black long-sleeved t-shirt with white writing on the back, black and white baseball cap and runners.

Anyone with information on the identity of the two suspects were asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300, or by providing an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
