Fuel Good Day returns in support of local non-profits

Sep 3, 2025 | 1:14 PM

Armstrong Regional Co-op’s annual initiative to support not-for-profits is going ahead in mid-September.

Fuel Good Day is set for Tuesday, Sept. 16, where people who fuel up at the ARC gas stations will see 10 cents of every litre sold go towards a local organization, including:

  • Cops for Kids (Vernon Co-op gas bars on 27th and 32nd Streets)
  • North Okanagan Minor Hockey Association (Armstrong Co-op station on Okanagan Street)
  • Salmon Arm Legion (Salmon Arm Co-op bas bars on Highway 1)
  • Cranbrook Boys & Girls Club (Cranbrook Co-op station on Cranbrook Street N)

“The Armstrong Regional Co-op is committed to serving the community and giving back, not just on this day but throughout the year,” Jason Keis, Marketing & Community Relations Manager with the Armstrong Regional Cooperative, said.

“Fuel Good Day is one of many ways we fuel our communities, whether it’s by sharing profits with our members or supporting local organizations that are doing important work right here in our own backyard.”

Fuel Good Day was launched in 2017 and has raised over $3 million in support of over 700 organizations in Western Canada. Those totals included more than $16,000 raised by ARC in 2024, with nearly $6,000 of that going to support the North Okanagan Neurological Association.
