Talk about a gimme: Police seeking info on putter thieves

Police are on the hunt for some alleged thieves who appear to be working on their short game.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP say a man and woman entered the pro shop at the Rise Golf Resort at approximately 7:45 p.m. Monday, July 28, and stole eight Scotty Cameron putters, valued at $5,000.

The theft was captured on CCTV, and police have released the following images in hopes of identifying the pair.

“We’re putting these photos out hoping someone will be able to help us identify these people and further our investigation,” Constable Chris Terleski, Media Relations Officer for the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, stated.

Anyone who recognizes the individuals or has additional information about the theft are asked to call the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171 and quote file #2025-1246.
