Another pedestrian fatality on Kelowna’s Burtch Avenue

The serious incident on Burtch Avenue Sunday was because of a pedestrian fatality – the second such incident on Burtch in the past month.

Kelowna RCMP confirmed they are investigating the fatality at the intersection of Bernard Avenue just before noon.

The person was struck by a vehicle and succumbed to their injuries.

In June, a female pedestrian was struck and killed at the intersection of Burtch and Highway 97.
