Coldstream home destroyed in afternoon fire

Emergency crews were on the scene of a house fire in Coldstream Thursday afternoon.

Vernon Matters learned of the fire and attended the scene around 3:30 p.m., and found firefighters actioning a house on all sides as heavy smoke billowing up from the home.

The crews managed to suppress the smoke, unveiling the home that was destroyed in the blaze.

Neighbours who spoke to Vernon Matters said they did not have any details about the blaze..

Coldstream Fire Department was also not immediately available to provide details about the suspected cause of the fire or any injuries.
