Ghetto blaster, beer brawl, and boozy driver

A late-night blast of Black and White by Three Dog Night tops the list of unusual calls in the Salmon Arm RCMP’s latest release, covering June 25 to July 8, 2025.

On July 2, police responded to loud music on 5th St SE and found a ghetto blaster going full volume. When knocking didn’t work, officers reached through an open window and unplugged it. The woman inside later stepped out for a smoke, got a warning, and joked she’d “rob a bank” to pay the fine.

Also included in the police calls:

July 5: A back-alley fight over beer led to one man being arrested and assault charges recommended.
