Three arrested in 2022 Penticton double murder case
Three people have been arrested in connection with the 2022 murders of Alannah Brown and Douglas Barker, whose remains were found near Penticton.
Jilane King is charged with first-degree murder in Barker’s death and accessory after the fact in both killings.
Simon Bourbonnais faces manslaughter in Brown’s death, unlawful confinement, indignity to human remains, and accessory charges.
Tyler Stuart is charged as an accessory in both murders and with indignity to human remains.
In a press release, Superintendent Sanjay Wijayakoon of the E-Division Serious Crime Unit said: “After an almost three-year intensive investigation, the E-Division Serious Crime Unit has made the initial arrests of three suspects in the homicides of both Douglas Barker and Alannah Brown.”
