Rock the Lake roars

Rock the Lake drew over 8,500 fans to downtown Kelowna this past weekend for its 8th all-Canadian music fest outside Prospera Place.

With acts like Simple Plan and Sam Roberts Band, the event welcomed fans of all ages, and made an impact offstage too.

Over $20,000 was raised for the Kelowna Professional Firefighters’ Charitable Society, ensuring local firefighters and their families could attend.

Beyond the music, fans enjoyed the festival market, VIP lounge, and kids zone.

Organizers say planning is already underway for next year’s event, set for July 10–12, 2026.
