Measles exposure at Lake Country restaurant

Interior Health is warning about a possible measles exposure at the Chopped Leaf in Lake Country (9522 Main Street, Unit 76).

It happened on July 7, 9, 10, and 11 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Anyone who was there during those times should watch for symptoms like fever, cough, red eyes, and a rash, especially if you’re not vaccinated. Babies under one are most at risk.

Symptoms usually show up 7 to 21 days after exposure.

If you feel sick, call 8-1-1 or use the BCCDC self-assessment tool.
