Bull riding returns to Kelowna as PBR Canada Cup Series rolls into town

Jul 17, 2025 | 9:37 AM

Prospera Place will play host to a night of high-intensity competition when the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Canada Cup Series returns to Kelowna on July 17.

The PBR Okanagan Challenge will feature some of the country’s top riders alongside standout international talent, facing off against 2,000 lb bulls in a head-to-head battle of strength, skill and nerve. The event marks the sixth stop on PBR Canada’s premier national tour.

New for this year is the Floor Suite Experience, a platform-level VIP zone set up close to the dirt. The section features bar-style seating, a private express bar and improved sightlines for fans who want a high-energy, premium viewing experience. Tickets start at $200 plus fees, with availability limited.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with the event set to begin at 7 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for security screening.

Prospera Place has implemented several updates since January, including a cashless policy across all food, beverage and merchandise sales. Accepted forms of payment include debit, credit, gift cards and mobile tap.

Ticket holders for the floor and dirt suites should enter via Gate 1, where passes will be required. Will call pickup is also located near Gate 1 — photo ID is required, and patrons are encouraged to collect tickets in advance.

Event parking at Prospera Place is available for $20, and the Manhattan Point Restaurant inside the venue will open at 5 p.m. For reservations, call 250-979-0877.

Prospera Place has a no re-entry policy, and no professional cameras, flash photography or distracting lights will be permitted during the show.
