Cyclist hospitalized after collision near downtown Vernon

A cyclist was injured in a crash just outside Vernon’s downtown core Wednesday morning.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP say the collision involved a vehicle hitting a cyclist near the intersection of 30th Street and 35th Avenue, near the fire hall and RCMP detachment, at around 11:20 a.m. July 16.

The cyclist was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the crash remains under investigation.
