Kelowna RCMP Officer hurt in crash

A Kelowna RCMP officer was in a car crash today just before noon at Harvey Avenue and Bertram Street.

The accident closed southbound Highway 97 between Richter and Ellis Streets for a while.

The officer was hurt but not seriously and was treated at the scene before being taken to the hospital.

Investigators are trying to determine what happened.
