Arrest after major police response to hit and run and assault in Kelowna

There was a large police presence and response at two different locations Friday afternoon following a hit and run and assault on the corner of Enterprise Way and Spall.

That initial incident happened at 1 p.m.

Then, as part of that investigation Kelowna RCMP closed down Glenmore Road in Lake Country in both directions for a while between Shanks Road and Janet Road.

The arrest of a suspect took place in that area.
