Kelowna Ribfest returns to Kelowna City Park

Jun 24, 2025 | 4:00 PM

Ribfest is returning to Kelowna this summer, offering three days of barbecue, live entertainment and free family fun at City Park.

The festival will run from July 4 to 6 and features five national, award-winning rib teams serving up smoked ribs, pulled pork and other barbecue favourites. Vegetarian options will also be available, along with drinks from local breweries and cideries. Non-alcoholic beverages will be offered on site as well.

“Ribfest would not be possible without the support of our community, our sponsors, vendors and the five national rib chefs,” said Christina Ferreira with Impact Events and Brand Management, the festival’s organizer.

The festival kicks off Friday at 3 p.m. and continues all weekend, wrapping up Sunday evening at 7 p.m. Saturday will feature a dedicated Kids Zone from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and live music is scheduled throughout the weekend. The Vendor Village will showcase a range of local businesses and products.

Organizers say the event offers more than just food and entertainment — it also supports local economic activity.

“Supporting Ribfest is about more than enjoying great food and music — it also helps dozens of small businesses in our city,” Ferreira said.

Admission to Kelowna Ribfest is free. For full event details, including performer lineups and vendor listings, visit the Kelowna Ribfest website.
