Traffic disrupted after semi breaks down in Vernon’s south end

A semi break down was disrupting traffic heading south out of Vernon Monday.

The truck broke down at the bottom of Hospital Hill in the curbside, southbound lane of 32nd Street, near the Royal Park Inn at the intersection of 25th Avenue, around 11 a.m. June 23.

Vernon Matters spoke with the driver shortly before noon, who said at the time there was no clear timeline for when the truck would be removed and the lane reopened.

DriveBC did not have a report on the semi break down as of noon Monday.
