Documentary uncovers wildfire crisis

B.C. is burning

A new independent film about B.C.’s wildfire problem is coming to Kelowna and Vernon this month.

B.C. is Burning looks at what is causing the big fires and shows ways, based on science, to help protect our forests and communities.

Directed by Ryan Tebbutt of Edge Digital Media in Kelowna, the documentary features expert interviews, government data, and dramatic footage from B.C. and California.

The Kelowna showing is next Tuesday at the Mary Irwin Theatre in the Rotary Centre for the Arts.
