An advisor because of health concerns means a local swimming spot is off limits.
At the recommendation of Interior Health, the Regional District declared a swimming advisory for Reiswig Regional Park, which is on the shores of Wood Lake in Lake Country.
Elevated E Coli levels means if the water is ingested swimmers may develop gastrointestinal illness, skin rashes and/or eye, ear and throat symptoms.
Other water-related activities should also also be avoided until further notice.
