Traffic to be interrupted on 25th St. due to infrastructure upgrades

The City of Vernon is warning of traffic impacts due to planned work along 25th Street.

The city said crews would be out as early as 7 a.m. Friday, June 13, to install storm infrastructure along the road between 39th and 43rd Avenues.

The work will require the street to be closed to through traffic while the work is done, with it expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Friday, barring any unforeseen complications.

Access to local businesses and residences will be maintained as the work is done.

The city reminded motorists to obey all traffic control measures, slow down in work zones, and be cautious of workers and equipment.
