Kelowna to open year-round tennis facility

The City of Kelowna has partnered with Tennis Clubs of Canada to build a new winter tennis facility at Mission Recreation Park and expand tennis programs across the city.

Opening in November, the facility will feature five competition-standard courts covered by a removable dome in winter, with free public access in summer.

“We are thrilled to partner with Tennis Clubs of Canada to bring this new facility to Mission Recreation Park, and offer expanded recreational programming,” said Mayor Tom Dyas.

The $2.9 million project is funded through a partnership between the City and Tennis Clubs of Canada.
