Honoring late professor’s legacy

Kevin Greenwood’s enduring legacy as a cherished member of the Okanagan College business faculty was celebrated on Tuesday with the presentation of the inaugural Kevin Greenwood Memorial Scholarship to student Marcus Kuhn.
The $1,000 award, which honors outstanding achievement in entrepreneurship, was presented during the School District 23 iGen Challenge.
Greenwood, who passed away unexpectedly in 2021, was known for his deep passion for teaching and innovation.
“Kevin really loved teaching students and passing on his passion for entrepreneurship,” said fellow faculty member Aidan Cole in a press release. “He was and still is an inspiration.”
