Rockets to open regular season in Kelowna

The Kelowna Rockets will have home ice advantage for their first game of the 2025-26 WHL regular season.

The league announced that the Rockets would open the season at Prospera Place against the Spokane Chiefs on Friday, September 19.

The Rockets will then visit Penticton the following Friday for the Vees’ home opener.

The league announced the home opening dates for the 23 teams Wednesday, June 4, though noted the full regular season schedule won’t be released until June 23.
