West Kelowna launches free summer plaza series with fitness and markets
A fresh lineup of free outdoor events is coming to the heart of West Kelowna as part of a new community initiative launched by the city and Visit Westside.
Beginning Tuesday, June 3, residents are invited to take part in Pop-Ups on the Plaza, a series of weekly gatherings held outside West Kelowna’s City Hall and library at 3731 Old Okanagan Highway.
The seasonal program will feature a rotating mix of drop-in activities including yoga sessions, Zumba workouts and two-step dance instruction — all aimed at encouraging locals to get active and connect with one another.
In addition to the fitness offerings, select Fridays will see the space transformed into a vibrant marketplace, showcasing a range of goods from local artisans and small businesses.
