BX Ranch Dog Park to close for a month for site upgrades

Dog owners who use the BX Ranch will need to find a new place to walk their pets for a few weeks this summer.

The Regional District of North Okanagan will close the dog park on June 16 for a period of 30 days to accomodate upgrade work at the park.

The work will include installing a structural sub-base, catch basins, and a new dog water fountain and water bottle filling station. The parking lot will also be paved with asphalt.

There will be no vehicle or pedestrian access to the park during construction.
