UPDATE: Classes resumed as police investigate Seaton Secondary threat
RCMP have opened an investigation into a threat that lead to a Vernon High School being evacuated.
Police received a report of a threat made against W. L. Seaton Secondary around 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15.
The building was evacuated and police conducted an initial investigation, where it was determined that there was no credible threat to the safety of the school.
“Our top priority is the safety and security of our schools,” Constable Chris Terleski, Media Relations Officer for the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, said.
