Fatal Collision

One person dead following crash in Enderby Thursday

The motor vehicle accident that halted northbound traffic through Enderby on Thursday was a fatal collision.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP said that a motorcycle collided with a dump truck in the 1600-block of George Street/HWY 97A at about 2:30 p.m., May 8.

Police attended the scene and through the initial investigation determined the dump truck was stopped in the southbound lane when the motorcycle crashed into it from behind.

The rider was declared deceased at the scene.
