Greater Vernon Water has rescinded its Boil Water Notice for Tronson Rd. and the surrounding neighbourhood, as well as the Water Quality Advisory for the Okanagan Lading area.

The utility provider lifted the orders Tuesday, May 13, after bacterial testing showed the water was within the drinking quality standards.

People may experience discoloured water or air in their pipes, and were advised to run their cold taps until the water turned clear. It was recommended this be done using an outdoor tap.
