Public Input Opportunity

Vernonites invited to have say in Budget 2026

May 6, 2025 | 2:18 PM

The City of Vernon has opened a survey to collect input on the 2026 budget.

The city wants residents to provide input on how money is allocated to fund key services, such as parks, roads, public safety and recreation.

People who participate in the survey will be entered into a draw for a $150 gift card to their Vernon business of choice.

The survey can be found online here, and paper copies can be picked up at City Hall.

The deadline to submit feedback is May 26 at 5 p.m.

The city said the survey marks the first phase of public engagement, which is a key part of the budget planning process and helps ensure investments align with what matter most to Vernon residents.
