Park attack assailant still at large

Knife wielding suspect remains at large

A man who allegedly threatened women at Polson Park remains on the loose.

RCMP said an unknown man, brandishing a knife, approached two women in the part around 11:35 p.m. Friday, April 25.

Police responded to the report of an assault, but the suspect had already fled the park by the time officers responded, reportedly heading west.

The suspect was described as wearing dark sweatpants, a black hoodie, and a fanny pack.

Police patrolled the area but the suspect was not located, and remains at large.

The women were taken home with no injuries reported.
