Garden and yard waste not being accepted at Middleton site

The District of Coldstream has cancelled it’s yard and garden waste program at one of its transfer stations.
The district said it was no longer accepting drop-offs at the site on Middleton Dr. as it was being used to store materials needed for the construction of the new Public Works building.
People wishing to dispose of garden and yard waste, including leaves, were instead asked to visit the Greater Vernon Diversion and Disposal Facility at 120 Birnie Road.
