Search and rescue vessel ready for boating season

Vernon Search and Rescue is ready to respond to emergencies on the lake.
VSAR said on social media that, as the weather had warmed up, the search and rescue vessel Legacy was checked over, fuelled up, and went out onto Okanagan Lake over the weekend.
The trip allowed for some operator training as well an opportunity to tour around the lake.
VSAR added it will be getting its other boats and crews ready over the coming weeks so they are prepared for emergencies on the water in the spring and summer months.
