It will be a full panel participating in the Greater Vernon Chamber’s all candidates forum.

The Chamber confirmed that all four candidates in the Vernon-Lake Country-Monashee riding will take part in the forum.

The Chamber will host the forum at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre Thursday, April 17, in advance of the federal election.

“This forum provides a vital space for community dialogue and civic engagement,” said Dan Proulx, general manager of the Greater Vernon Chamber, who will also serve as moderator for the evening.

“We’re excited to offer voters the opportunity to hear directly from each candidate on the issues that matter most to our region.”

Candidates will be asked a series of moderated questions, and may also answer questions submitted by attendees, time permitting.

The forum will be free to attend, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the forum running from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. This will provide members of the public an opportunity to meet the candidates ahead of the forum and speak with them in person.

The Chamber will also live stream the forum on YouTube.
