Development construction in Coldstream to begin Monday

Construction of a new development in Coldstream is ready to begin.

The District of Coldstream said the work for the Sarson Rd. development will start Monday, March 24.

The property, located between Highway 6 and Selkirk Drive near the Regional District of North Okanagan office at the intersection with Aberdeen Dr., would be an active construction zone with heavy equipment shaping roads and utility corridors.

The District stated there would be heavy equipment bringing materials on and off the property via Selkirk Drive and Middleton Way.

Traffic control personnel would be on site periodically to ensure machinery s safely moved on and off site, and motorists were asked to obey allo site signage and traffic control measures.

Construction at the property was expected to be completed by mid-October.
