Kelowna B&E suspect arrested

A suspect in a break and enter was apprehended shortly after the incident took place.

Kelowna RCMP responded to a business break and enter in progress in the 1300-block of Ellis St.just after 5 a.m. Tuesday, Mar. 4.

Police arrived on the scene and learned the male suspect had left just before their arrival, but officer were provided a description from the complainant and arrested a suspect in a nearby location.

“Live CCTV footage downtown from the City of Kelowna was also instrumental in assisting officers to locate and arrest this suspect quickly and without incident,” Cpl. Michael Gauthier, Media Relations Officer, said.
