Open house to provide information on Vernon’s planned capital projects
The City of Vernon will host a public information session for people to learn more about planned infrastructure projects.
The city had allocated a combined $28.6-million for 27 capital projects in 2025. Those range from the construction of two new roundabouts to upgrades at the airport, and from utility and road work to the naturalization of Vernon Creek at Polson Park.
The city will hold the information session at the Vernon Recreation Centre from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, for people to learn more about these and the other projects, and have any questions answered.
The city noted there would also be information on other projects, including an update on the construction of the new Active Living Centre.
