Arrest warrant for man passing himself off as psychologist

Kelowna RCMP are looking for a man who is alleged to have fraudulently passed himself off as a psychologist.

52-year-old Xander Phoenix, previously of New Westminster, is accused of forging documents and providing medical assessments without proper credentials as a psychologist.

Police said the investigation began in May 2022 and has now led to charges.

In a media release, Kelowna RCMP said Phoenix has been charged with one count of causing person to use forged document contrary to Section 368(1)(b) and one count of forgery contrary to section 367 of the Criminal Code.
