Deadline to register for the federal Conservative nominee process approaching

People have just two more days to register and have a say in the decision of the local Conservative Party of Canada nominee.

A closing notice was issued for the official nomination for the Conservative candidate in the Vernon-Lake Country-Monashee electoral district, stating people wishing to participate in the vote would need to register by the end of the work week.

Memberships could be purchased online until 8:59 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14.

Anyone who’s membership expired within the previous 90 days as of Thursday, Feb. 13, would be eligible to vote as long as they pay the membership renewal fee, as required by the party.
