Accused found guilty in sexual assault of a minor retrial

A man being re-tried on a count of sexual assault of a minor will be going back to prison.

The B.C. Prosecution Service said Keith Chase appeared in Vernon court for the decision in a retrial of a count of sexual assault of a minor on Wednesday, Feb. 5, where the justice ruled that Chase was guilty.

Chase will be back in Vernon law courts to fix a date for sentencing on Feb. 18.

Chase was accused of sexually assaulting an underage girl while he was her hockey coach in 2004.
